In Ayodhya, the Muslim Ram devotee found it difficult to make him dance by playing bhajans. The Patidar and his associates living next door attacked them. The accused attacked Bablu and his two sons with an ax and a stick. The victim’s family has complained about the matter to the police. The police have registered a case and got the injured medically examined.
The accused are absconding since the incident. The police is busy searching for them. The incident took place in village Mirzapur Mafi of Darshannagar police post of Ayodhya. Bablu Khan, who lives here, was celebrating Diwali in the office with his family. During this time he was dancing while playing a song named Ram. Meanwhile, the Patidar living next to him protested and started abusing.
Connected to Ram Mandir movement since 2014
Victim Bablu Khan told that Patidar abused him, which he protested against. After that the dispute turned into a fight. The accused along with some of his associates suddenly attacked with a sharp weapon. His two sons who came to save him were also beaten. Injured Bablu Khan told that he has been associated with the Ram Mandir movement since 2014 and is working as a member of BJP. He was sitting at the camp office outside his residence in the evening.
Beaten for playing Ram Bhajan
During this time some of his friends came. He stopped the car and played a song named Ram. He was playing ‘Ram aayenge to angana sajaungi’ in the car. Due to this the Patidars living next door started abusing. When we told them that we were playing at our house, they attacked with a sharp weapon. Bablu told that when his sons reached there to save him, some other people attacked him with an axe. All three of them were injured in the attack.
