In Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, three Muslim youths were begging for alms in the guise of sadhus. When the local people got suspicious, they asked his name. After strict interrogation, they revealed their names as Sohrab, Niaz and Shahzad. After this, the local people caught all three and handed them over to the police.
According to the villagers, on Friday, 9 people in the guise of sadhus were going door-to-door asking for alms in Sonbarsa and Sukha. Meanwhile, when local Shivkumar Gupta started interrogating them, everyone started showing reluctance. Shivkumar became suspicious of his actions. Meanwhile, other villagers also came. When the villagers started inquiring, six ran away, while the villagers ran and caught three of them. After a lot of struggle, all three revealed their names.
What did the three tell the villagers?
All three told their names as Sohrab, Shahzad and Niaz, who are said to be residents of Mau. In front of the villagers, the three youths claimed that they belonged to Yogi Ji’s monastery in Gorakhpur. His family members have also been living by begging under this tradition. They are also doing this work like their family members. In this case, Shivkumar Gupta said that the incidents of theft have increased in his area these days. They suspect that these people do Reiki while begging and then also commit criminal incidents at night.
Police sent all three to jail
The area officer of Kasimabad said that on the complaint of Shivkumar Gupta, three people have been caught by the police while begging in the guise of a monk. All three have declared their names as belonging to the Muslim community. In this case, Kasimabad Kotwali Police has taken action against all three by registering a case under Section 391 (1) and sending them to jail.
