Amaran Box Office Collection Day 2: Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Tamil movie is a heart-wrenching real-life story of an army officer who was martyred in the 2014 Qazipathri Operation.
The film has been winning the hearts of the audience so far and had record-breaking numbers till now. The movie saw a drop in numbers on Day 2 but still managed to maintain a strong pace. This brings hope that Amaran will be a big box office hit which will shatter all the records.

As per Sacnilk, the Tamil movie earned Rs 19.25 crore on Day 2. The net collection of Amaran stands at Rs 40.65 crore. It had 81.70 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres. Amaran had 66.79 per cent Tamil occupancy in morning shows, 83.36 per cent in afternoon shows, 86.79 per cent in evening shows and 89.85 per cent in night shows. On the other hand, the movie had 57.50 per cent Telegu occupancy in theatres on Friday. The break out of the day is as follows- 40.56 per cent occupancy in morning shows, 60.51 per cent occupancy in afternoon shows, 57.42 per cent in evening shows and 71.49 per cent in night shows.
Amaran Budget
If reports are to be believed, Rajkumar Periasamy’s directorial was made on a budget of Rs 130 crore. The movie was backed by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran and Vivek Krishnani.
About Amaran
The story is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan and his contribution to the nation. It is mainly set against the backdrop of the Qazipathri Operation in Shopian, Kashmir, which took place back in 2014. The movie features Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Suresh Chakravarthy, Shreekumar, Mir Salman and Geetha Kailasam in key roles. The movie was released in theatres on October 31, 2024.
