Devin Booker Scores 40 Points As Phoenix Suns Overcome Clippers In Thrilling Match

Devin Booker scored 40 points, and Kevin Durant contributed 18 as the Phoenix Suns overcame a 21-point deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 125-119. Booker’s corner three-pointer put Phoenix ahead 108-105 with just over five minutes left.

The Suns scored 73 points in the second half, marking their second win in eight days at the Clippers’ new arena. Booker and Durant combined for 20 points in the third quarter.

James Harden had a strong performance for Los Angeles with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists. However, the Clippers faltered again after losing a late lead to Portland the previous night. Despite an early setback where they were outscored 11-0 in the first quarter, Phoenix dominated fast-break points with a 21-5 advantage for the rest of the game.

 

 

Ja Morant’s triple-double led the Memphis Grizzlies to a commanding victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, winning by a score of 122-99. Morant recorded 26 points, along with 14 assists and 10 rebounds. Santi Aldama added significant support with his contribution of 19 points and nine rebounds. Scotty Pippen Jr. and Jaylen Wells each scored 16 points as Memphis ended their two-game losing streak.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was Milwaukee’s top performer with an impressive tally of 37 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Brook Lopez added another dozen points while Bobby Portis Jr. finished with eleven as well. Unfortunately for Milwaukee, this marked their fourth consecutive loss.

Victor Wembanyama’s standout performance helped San Antonio Spurs secure a win against Utah Jazz, who remain winless this season. Wembanyama tallied an impressive stat line of 22 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, five steals, and five blocks. Chris Paul also contributed significantly with his own set of numbers: nineteen points alongside ten assists and six rebounds.

Collin Sexton led Utah’s efforts by scoring sixteen while John Collins added fourteen more along with eleven boards; however it wasn’t enough to prevent another loss for them as they played without Lauri Markkanen due to back spasms.
