It is being told that the bullies had asked for matchsticks from the Mahadalit family. The family refused to give the matchbox. Due to which the bullies got angry and set fire to the Mahadalit’s house. Now the video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral.
According to the information received, on the night of Diwali in Chheetar Bigha village of Karayaparsurai police station area, bullies beat up a Mahadalit family and set their house on fire. According to the information, Mangal Manjhi was living in a hut in the village. Four to five drunken bullies started beating the Mahadalit family. After this the bullies set fire to the hut-like house of the victim’s family.
Household items burnt to ashes
Although no member of the house suffered any harm due to this incident of arson, all the goods kept in the house were burnt to ashes. Here, there is talk in the area that the bullies first drank alcohol and then asked for matchsticks to smoke cigarettes. Matchbox was not given by the victim. After that there was an altercation between the two and after the fight the matter became quiet.

Police registered a case against 4 people
Regarding this incident, Police Station Head Amit Kumar said that a case has been registered against a total of four people as accused. The police have started investigating the matter. The incident is said to have been carried out due to non-delivery of matchsticks. After receiving information about the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and controlled the fire with the help of nearby people.
