When the banner of this program was put up, the name “Jashn-e-Roshni” was written on it. There was controversy after seeing this name written. After this incident, a debate broke out on social media on naming the Diwali program “Jashn-e-Roshni”. People raised questions on the internet that when foreign students had to be made aware of the Indian festival culture, then what was the need to keep the name Mughaliya. The director of the institute, Manindra Aggarwal, said that this program was for the students and it was they who had come up with the title.

After which this debate started on the internet. People said that what was the intention of keeping the name Mughaliya to convey the culture of a Hindu festival.
