In this firing, two armed men shot dead a 40-year-old man and his nephew, while the man’s son was injured by the bullet. An official informed that Akash Sharma alias Chhotu and his nephew Rishabh Sharma (16) died in the incident while Krish Sharma (10) was injured by bullet.

The officer said the victims were celebrating Diwali outside their house in Farsh Bazar area of ​​Shahdara when they were attacked at around 8 pm. When the PCR call was received at around 8.30 pm, a police team was sent to the area. The team found blood stains at the scene.

How did the firing happen?

People present at the spot told the police that the accused had touched Akash Sharma’s feet before shooting at him and then attacked him. His son Krish and nephew Rishabh, who were standing near Akash Sharma, were also shot. Everyone was immediately taken to the hospital. The official said that Akash Sharma and Rishabh Sharma were declared dead by the doctors in the hospital while Krish Sharma’s condition remains critical and he is undergoing treatment.

What did the police say?

Police said that at present it appears to be a case of personal enmity. However, this matter is under investigation. Regarding this incident, DCP Prashant Gautam said, today at around 8:30 pm we received information that bullets had been fired in Farsh Bazar area. Police reached the spot. It was learned that 3 people were shot in the incident, out of which 2, Akash and his nephew Rishabh, have died. We are investigating the matter.
