Rishabh Pant: When Rishabh Pant had an accident, many wicket-keeper batsmen were given a chance in Team India but no batsman was able to cement his place in the Test team. But there was one player who got opportunities and he performed well in those opportunities, but after Rishabh’s return, Rishabh was the first choice of the team management, due to which this player did not get a chance to play.
KS Bharat was out due to poor performance
Let us tell you that this wicket-keeper batsman is none other than KS Bharat, who plays for Andhra Pradesh in domestic cricket. KS Bharat got a chance in the team when Rishabh was injured but he could not do anything special on those occasions and kept wasting chances due to which he was dropped from the team.
Dhruv seized the opportunities
KS Bharat’s performance in the first match of the England series held earlier this year was also not good and Team India also lost that match due to which the team management dropped KS Bharat and gave a chance to Dhruv Jurel and Jurel replaced him. Taking advantage of the opportunities, he performed brilliantly. In Ranchi, he had cost India the lost match with his batting. After which KS Bharat’s card was cut from Team India.
KS Bharat’s test career has been bad
If we talk about KS Bharat’s career, till date he has played 7 test matches in which in 12 innings he has been able to score only 221 runs at an ordinary average of 20.09. In which he has not been successful in scoring even a single half-century or century. Whereas he had 19 dismissals in 14 innings of 7 matches. After Dhruv Jurel performed well, he did not get a chance to return to the team.
