There was a loud explosion in a train going from Rohtak to Bahadurgarh in Haryana. This explosion happened due to the fire in the sulfur-potash being carried in the train. After the blast, the train bogie caught fire. To escape from this, four passengers jumped from the moving train and got badly injured. There are reports of four other passengers getting burnt in the fire. This accident happened at Sampla station. On receiving the information, GRP and RPF reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
According to the police, this train had left from Rohtak station at 4.20 pm. As soon as this train left Sampla station, there was a sudden explosion and the bogie caught fire. According to the police, someone in this train was carrying sulfur potash to sell on Diwali. This explosive item was kept on the luggage rack above the seat. Seeing the sound of the explosion and the fire, there was panic among the passengers sitting in the train bogie.
Four passengers jumped, four also got burnt
Four passengers jumped out of the moving train. All four passengers have been seriously injured. Due to the sudden explosion and fire, four other passengers got badly burnt. GRP has admitted all these passengers to the hospital. The passengers sitting in the train had boarded the train at 4.20 pm to go to Bahadurgarh from Rohtak railway station.
Accident happened in Sampla
The train stopped at Saampla railway station and as soon as it started for Bahadurgarh, suddenly there was an explosion and fire. No one even got a chance to recover in this. It was fortunate that the driver stopped the train immediately. However, by this time four passengers had jumped from the train. Four passengers were burnt to death in the fire. According to the passengers, apart from sulfur potash, some iron tools were also kept in the rack.
