Every Hindu worships Hanuman, a devotee of Lord Shri Ram and his best friend. But do you know that in a village in Maharashtra, people worship not Lord Hanuman but his arch enemy Nimba Daitya. Every child of this village is a devotee of Nimba demon. This village is located in Ahmednagar, 350 kilometers away from Mumbai. People here consider Nimba Daitya as their progenitor.

There is the reign of that demon all around here. In this village, even taking the name of a great warrior like Lord Hanuman is a grave sin. People here hate names like Hanuman, Bajrang Bali, Maruti. The people of this village believe that the mountain which Lord Hanuman had taken to Sanjivani Booti was located here. This is the reason why the people here are angry with Hanumanji.

Even the residents of this village cannot hoist the red flag. They say that at the time when Lord Hanuman came to collect Sanjeevani Booti, the mountain deity was doing sadhana. Hanuman ji did not even ask for permission for this nor did he wait for his sadhana to be completed. Lord Hanuman also broke the worship of the mountain deity. Not only this, while carrying Dronagiri mountain, Hanuman also uprooted the right arm of the mountain god.

red color flows from the mountain

It is believed that even today red blood is flowing from the mountain. This is the reason why the people of Dronagiri village do not worship Lord Hanuman nor do they hoist the red flag. The people of this village do not even marry their daughters in a village where Lord Hanuman is worshipped. Nimba Daitya Maharaj is worshiped before doing any auspicious work in the village.

Maruti cars banned

Here you can bring any car, the condition is that it should not be a Maruti company car. If any person enters this village with a Maruti car, his car is destroyed.
