A case of cruelty to a four year old girl has come to light in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The girl was murdered by her neighbor who called her to his house on the pretext of murder and then when they were about to put the body in a sack and dispose of it, the matter came to light. After this, the police have arrested the girl’s aunt and her husband. It is not yet clear why the accused committed this crime. However, after sending the body for post-mortem, the police have started investigating the matter from every possible angle.
The matter is of Shikarpur Chaudhary village in Izzatnagar police station area of Bareilly. A 4-year-old girl living here was playing outside her house on Saturday. During this time she went missing. After getting the information, the family members searched the area extensively, but when no news was found, they lodged a complaint with the police. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police also immediately formed a team to search for the girl. This team started interrogating the people living near the girl’s house.
Suspicious due to house being closed
During this interrogation, all the neighbors came out of the house on their own and started cooperating in the police investigation. At the same time, no one came out of the house of Gangaram, who lived in the girl’s neighbourhood. No one even opened the door. Due to this the police became suspicious and they opened the door and looked inside. The girl’s body was found in a sack there. It was revealed that Gangaram and his daughter-in-law Savitri had brutally murdered this girl. However, they did not get a chance to dispose of the body after the incident.
Police involved in investigation
At present, the police have taken the accused into custody and started questioning them. On the other hand, the girl’s family told that they have good relations with the neighbours. He has no dispute even with the accused. The police investigation has become more complicated due to this statement of the family members. According to the police, no concrete reason for this incident has come to light yet. Police said that the accused woman Savitri is the aunt of the deceased girl. Gangaram is Savitri’s father-in-law.
