Gangster Sundar Bhati, who was serving life imprisonment for the murder of SP leader Harendra Nagar and his government gunner Bhudev Sharma, has been released on bail from Allahabad High Court. He was lodged in Sonbhadra jail. But with the release of this notorious gangster, the headache of the UP Police has also increased. The reason is the criminal history of the gangster. More than 60 criminal cases are registered against Sundar Bhati.
These include the murder case of former District Panchayat President Naresh Bhati. Sundar is also accused of murdering Naresh. As soon as the mafia was released, the police have come on alert mode in some areas of Noida and Delhi.
Sundar Bhati’s daughter is getting married next month. At present he is busy in his preparations. If sources are to be believed, as soon as Sundar Bhati came out, the police as well as the intelligence have been activated. So that all the activities of Sunder Bhati can be kept a close watch. It is being told that at present Sundar Bhati is living in Mayur Vihar, Delhi. Ghanghola of his village Kasna police station area will also keep coming.
It is believed that gangster Sundar Bhati also has a good friendship with Lawrence Bishnoi. Not only this, the name of this infamous person has also been linked to the murder cases of Baahubali Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf. On April 15, when one of the three shooters who had gunned down mafia Atiq Ahmed and his gangster brother Ashraf Ahmed, was lodged in Hamirpur jail along with Sunder Bhati. It was also said that the Jigana pistol found from the shooters had reached them only on the instructions of Bhati.
What was Harendra Nagar murder case?
Harendra Pradhan, a resident of Dadupur village of Dankaur Kotwali area, was murdered in Niyana village of Greater Noida in 2015. Harendra Pradhan had gone to attend a wedding ceremony with his friends. While returning from there, he was shot dead by the operatives of Sunder Bhati gang. Harendra Nagar was the village head of Dadupur village.
During the attack, Harendra Pradhan’s government gunner Bhudev Sharma also died due to bullet injuries. In this case, the police had registered a case against Sundar Bhati and his 13 associates. Again in April 2021, the lower court of Noida had sentenced notorious criminal Sunder Bhati and his 11 henchmen to life imprisonment in this case.
Harendra’s brother Ravi Kana in jail
Before 2022, Sunder Bhati and his gang had a monopoly over the scrap business. But due to the swift action of Noida Police, his grip got loose. During that time, action was taken on many properties of Bhati and the scrap business was taken over by Harendra Nagar’s younger brother Ravi Nagar alias Ravi Kana.
Meanwhile, Anil Dujana, considered a big rival of the Sundar Bhati gang, was killed by the UP STF in an encounter in Meerut in May 2023. Dujana came out on bail on 10 April. At the same time, Noida Police also tightened its grip on Ravi Kana, brother of SP leader Harendra Nagar, who is considered a rival of Sundar Bhati gang and has established his business in the scrap business of Noida. Noida Police arrested Ravi Kana and his girlfriend and sent them to jail. Ravi Kana is currently lodged in Banda jail.
It is being said that Sundar Bhati is planning to take over the scrap business completely. Therefore Ravindra Nagar alias Ravi Kana may come under his target. At present, after Ravi Kana went to jail, this business is being handled by a big leader of West UP and some of his close ones. Ravi is also a witness to the Kana Harendra murder case. It was only after Ravindra’s advocacy that 11 people including Sundar Bhati were sentenced to life imprisonment in this case.
Notorious criminal of the 90s
According to the information, since the 90s, Sunder Bhati was a challenge for the police of both western UP and Haryana states. Sunder Bhati is originally a resident of Gangola, Greater Noida. He was once the right hand of the notorious Satveer Gurjar of Loni area of Ghaziabad.
Satveer Gurjar had a close friendship with Naresh Bhati of Greater Noida. Naresh had come in contact with Satveer to avenge the murder of family members in the village. From there, Sundar and Naresh also became friends. In the world of Jarayam, the pair of friends were called Jai-Veeru pair. But this friendship soon turned into enmity.
The desire for power became the cause of enmity. Naresh already had his eye on the truck union that Sunder Bhati wanted to take over. Naresh wanted to enter politics. He believed that if he captured the truck union, his dream of becoming the District Panchayat President would also be fulfilled. In this connection, both of them killed truck union presidents close to each other. Sundar was so enraged by this gang war that he became thirsty for Naresh’s blood.
Sundar killed Naresh
The year came 2003. Naresh Bhati won the District Panchayat elections and became the president. What happened was that Naresh’s power started increasing more than Sundar’s. Sundar did not like this at all. He organized a deadly attack on Naresh. But Naresh’s luck was good. He survived the attack, his driver and gunner were killed. But next time Sundar did not miss his target. He murdered Naresh Bhati.
As soon as Naresh moved out of the way, Sundar felt that his power had increased even more. After that he continued committing serious crimes. According to sources, apart from Lawrence, Sundar Bhati also has deep relations with notorious criminals Subhash Thakur, Sunil Rathi, mafia don Brijesh Singh and Tribhuvan Singh.
