The Punjab government on Saturday took strict action in the matter of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi giving an interview from jail. Taking concrete action against Bishnoi giving an interview from jail, the government has suspended 7 policemen including a DSP. The Home Department has also issued a letter in this regard.
The Home Department of Punjab has issued a letter saying that after finding him guilty in the investigation, the government has suspended him. Lawrence Bishnoi gave interviews from a jail in Punjab last year while in police custody. After which many questions were raised on the functioning of the police. However, at present gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged in Sabarmati jail of Gujarat.

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s name is also being linked to the Baba Siddiqui murder case in Mumbai. Along with this, she is also in the news regarding the recent firing near the house of actor Salman Khan. The story of the interview given from jail also revolved around Salman Khan. In the interview he was openly talking about killing Salman.
In the case of interrogation of Lawrence Bishnoi, the SIT has found Punjab Police’s DSP Gursher Singh, DSP Samar Vineet, Sub Inspector Reena, Sub Inspector Jagat Pal Jaggu, Sub Inspector Shaganjit Singh, ASI Mukhtiar Singh and Head Constable Om Prakash guilty. After which the government has suspended him from service with immediate effect.
The interview took place in police custody – investigation
This matter first reached the High Court after Lawrence Bishnoi gave an interview from jail. Where the court had handed over the investigation of the case to the SIT team under the supervision of DGP (Special) Prabodh Kumar of Punjab Police and the Human Rights Commission. After the report came out, the politics of Punjab heated up. Opposition parties had raised questions on the government. Because investigation found that one of these interviews took place in the custody of Punjab Police.

He also showed some pictures of Bishnoi. At that time there was also talk of interviewing him from Bathinda jail. At the same time, now the Punjab government has taken action on this.
