Ranbir Kapoor had given 37 takes for a scene in Luv Ranjan’s film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’. This has been revealed by director Luv Ranjan himself. He talked about his experience of working with Ranbir in a recent interview. During this, he also talked about his working relationship with Ranbir.
While talking about his film on Sony Max, Luv Ranjan also revealed that he was earlier going to work with Ranbir in some other project. Ajay Devgan would also have been in that film, but that project was stopped later. He said, “This was a new collaboration. Ranbir and I were working together for the first time. We started talking. We were going to do a film together, but things did not work out and the film was never made.”
This is how ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkar’ started
During this time both of them had a conversation and the idea of Tu Jhooti Main Makkar was discussed. Luv said, “We discussed a lot. Then we decided that this idea is good so we should do this film.” During this, Luv Ranjan praised Ranbir Kapoor’s dedication.

Said this after 37 takes
Luv said, “Many interesting things happen during the making of a film. Once upon a time. It was the third day of the shoot and we had taken 37 takes of Ranbir Kapoor. He is the kind of person who comes to you even after giving 37 takes and says if you are not 100 per cent happy then tell me, I will give another take. Don’t do OK just because I have given 37 takes.”
Shraddha Kapoor was seen with Ranbir Kapoor in Tu Jhooti Main Makkar. The film released in theaters on March 8, 2023 and did strong business at the box office.
