Bissau police station of Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan has arrested six people of a gang involved in kidnapping and robbery. Of the six arrested accused, two are Meerut Police constables and one is a lawyer by profession, who were running this gang. The accused used to carry out incidents of robbery and kidnapping by posing as officers of the SOG team of UP Police. The accused policemen have been identified as constable Rinku Singh Gurjar posted at Meerut police line and head constable Amit Khatana posted at Bhawanpur police station.
Rajasthan Bissau police station has arrested six people who committed kidnapping and robbery from Gangiyasar intersection. The arrested accused were running a gang in which they used to kidnap people and loot them. Two UP Police personnel are also included among the six accused arrested. It is being told that these two constables were mainly running the gang. The accused, posing as officers of the SOG team, were trying to kidnap four people including a couple selling clothes. Meanwhile, the police caught all the accused.
Kidnapped from roadways bus
The arrested accused were identified as Rinku Singh Gurjar (32) resident of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Meenu Rani (27) resident of Vijay Nagar Ghaziabad, Anuj Nagar (28) resident of Delhi, Amit Kumar Khatana (38) resident of Qutubsher Saharanpur, Munkad (55) resident of Hasanpur Hapur and Advocate Akash Sharma (28) resident of Meerut Kankarkheda has been identified. The police came to know about the gang when the accused kidnapped five people, including Jakhiya, a resident of Bulandshahr, from a roadways bus coming from Churu to Jhunjhunu.
Police recovered gun and handcuffs
After the kidnapping, a person traveling in the bus informed the police about the incident. As soon as the incident was known, the police made a plan to catch the accused and then blocked the Gangiyasar intersection and arrested all the six accused. At the same time, the police have recovered a handgun, two guns and holster from the arrested accused. Taking action in the entire matter, SSP Dr. Vipin Tada has suspended both the accused policemen. Besides, the SSP has also ordered a departmental inquiry against both the policemen.
