First did the nomination…then bid last farewell to the mother, ‘a mountain of sorrows fell’ on the Congress candidate

The process of nomination for assembly elections is going on in Jharkhand. Candidates of political parties are being nominated in full swing. Today i.e. 25th October was the last day of nomination for 43 assembly seats of Jharkhand. In such a situation, the candidates wanted to complete their nomination process before time. The nomination round was going on with music and cheers. Meanwhile, Congress candidate from Kanke assembly seat of Jharkhand, Suresh Baitha, arrived with tears in his eyes to file his nomination.

In fact, before the nomination, Dashmi Devi, the 89-year-old mother of Suresh Baitha, the Congress Party candidate from Kanke assembly seat, had passed away. On one side, mother’s dead body was lying in the house, a mountain of sorrows had fallen and on the other side, it was the last day of nomination. In the end, considering the service of the people of Kanke as the first, the candidate Suresh Baitha, while playing his role in the great festival of democracy, along with his supporters reached the Collectorate in Ranchi Court with tears in his eyes and filed his nomination with a heavy heart.

During the nomination of Kanke’s Congress candidate Suresh Baitha, a large number of leaders and workers including outgoing MLA of Khijri Assembly Rajesh Kachhap, Congress leader Yashaswini Sahay were present. Talking to the media after the nomination, Suresh Baitha said that he has been serving the people of the area for 25 years without becoming an MLA. Today, even in this hour of sorrow, I had to perform my duty.

He said that the party has made me a candidate and today was the last day of nomination so I filed my nomination. He told that after here I have to repay a debt also, I am very sad but what should I do, in such circumstances I have to take care of myself also. Let us tell you that just 24 hours ago the house where happiness was being celebrated. There was an atmosphere of Holi and Diwali in Suresh Baitha’s house when he was declared the Congress candidate from Kanke Assembly. There was mourning in the same house on 25th October, the last day of nomination.

Mother’s last rites performed after nomination

On one side, the mortal remains of mother Dashami Devi was lying in the house, on the other side, son Suresh Baitha was burdened with the responsibilities of the party and the people of Kanke assembly constituency. Suresh Baitha first filed his nomination, after which he went straight to the cremation ground, where he performed the last rites of his mother. During this, along with the people of the area, leaders of the Congress Party were also present in large numbers.
