There was a stir in the AC coach of Udaipur Intercity Express when suddenly smoke started coming out from the coach. Seeing the smoke coming out, the passengers came out of the coach and stood outside. When the railway officials and employees got information about the smoke, the smoke was extinguished using fire extinguishers. The passengers were shifted by adding another coach and the train was dispatched. After this reduction, the train left with a delay of about one and a half hour.
According to the information, as soon as the train stopped at Mauranipur station, the passengers started running away from the coach and the railway staff tried to stop the smoke coming out of the coach. Railway staff said that smoke was coming out due to spark in the electric panel. When the train reached Jhansi, the passengers were shifted to another bogie and after that the train was dispatched.
Passengers ran out of the coach after seeing smoke
Udaipur Intercity Express was going from Khajuraho to Udaipur. Meanwhile, suddenly heavy smoke started coming out from under AC coach M-2 near Mauranipur station. Due to which there was panic among the passengers. As soon as the train stopped at Mauranipur station, the passengers started running away from the coach. Seeing smoke coming out of the coach, the train driver and guard gave this information to the control room and station staff. After receiving the information, the station staff controlled the smoke with the help of fire fighting equipment. The Mauranipur train remained stopped for about 40 minutes.
Jhansi coach changed
After controlling the smoke, the station staff examined the coach. After checking the coach, the train was sent to Jhansi. Where the passengers were shifted by changing the coach in Jhansi. After this incident, the train left with a delay of about one and a half hour.
