Hyundai Creta EV: 500km range on full charge, know when the electric version of Creta will be launched?

To strengthen its hold in the electric segment, Hyundai may soon launch the electric incarnation of its popular SUV Hyundai Creta for the customers. Recently, Hyundai Motor India has announced that the company is focusing on expanding its EV portfolio.

The company has electric vehicles like Kona Electric and Ioniq 5 but both the models could not show anything special but now the company is preparing to make a splash soon with the electric avatar of its best selling SUV Creta.

Hyundai Creta EV Launch Date

The information about when this Hyundai SUV will be launched is yet to be revealed. But according to reports, Hyundai Creta EV can be introduced at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 to be held next year.

Design

This car has been spotted several times, which shows that this car can be launched with a closed panel instead of the regular radiator grill. Apart from this, the company can include new alloy wheels in the electric avatar of Creta.

Talking about the interior, premium leatherette material can be used in this electric SUV. Apart from this, features like electric panoramic sunroof, front ventilated seats and reclining seats in second row seats can be included in this SUV.

For infotainment, features like dual screen setup, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be found. Talking about safety features, this vehicle can be provided with Level 2 ADAS, 360 degree surround view camera, rear AC vents with USB charging ports, wireless phone charging and cooled glovebox.

Hyundai Creta EV Range

According to reports, two variants of Creta EV can be launched which will be available in different battery options. Some time ago, Tata Curvv EV has been launched with 45kWh and 55kWh battery options which offer 430 km and 502 km range respectively.

To compete with Tata Motors, Hyundai Creta EV can also be brought with a powerful battery, it is expected that Creta EV will get a driving range of up to 500 kilometers on full charge.
