According to the information, a few days ago two employees of Rishabh Ornament located in Manek Chowk had gone to Lalbhai Jewelers located in Krishnanagar to make delivery. Both of them had left on a two wheeler carrying silver jewellery. An employee named Bharat Prajapati was standing outside Lalbhai Jewelers with a bag on a two wheeler and then another employee went to the shop to give a bag of silver. At that time, Rakesh disguised as a Bengali woman was standing on a two wheeler carrying a bag of 26 kg of silver. Bharat Prajapati Had run away after pulling the bag from him. Then Nitin came nearby with a motorcycle and Rakesh sat behind it and ran away.
18 kg silver recovered
The case was registered at Krishnanagar police station. Considering the seriousness of the case, the Crime Branch had started investigation. Of the recovered items, 18 kg of silver out of 26 kg has been recovered from both of them. In which there were 333 anklets. Both the accused arrested by the Crime Branch and the recovered silver will now be handed over to Krishnanagar Police.
