The Steelers showcased a commanding display led by Vinay and Naveen, securing crucial points and establishing a solid foundation for their campaign.
The Haryana Steelers came out with a clear strategy and began the match aggressively. Their raiders, especially Naveen and Vinay, were on the prowl from the opening whistle, gaining an early lead of three points. The Steelers’ aggressive approach and tight defence kept the Jaipur Pink Panthers under pressure throughout the initial phase.
As the first half progressed, Vinay’s sharp raiding skills took centre stage. His consistency in scoring raiding points enabled the Haryana Steelers to maintain their lead. By the end of the first half, Vinay had notched up an impressive tally of nine points, propelling the Steelers to a comfortable 20-11 lead at the break.
The Pink Panthers attempted a comeback in the second half, scoring the first points cautiously. Abhijeet Malik, the main raider for Jaipur, tried to steer his team back into contention, but Haryana’s defence held firm. Midway through the second half, the Steelers’ lead grew to 12 points, with Vinay and Naveen contributing significantly to their team’s cause.
Vinay completed his Super 10, solidifying his influence on the game, while Naveen continued to exploit gaps in Jaipur’s defence. The Haryana Steelers’ defensive unit remained alert, effectively neutralising Jaipur’s offensive moves.

With their raiders performing brilliantly and the defence executing their tackles with precision, the Steelers secured a convincing 37-25 victory.
