BMW India celebrates the golden anniversary of the iconic 3 Series by introducing the special, limited Editions of BMW 330Li M Sport and BMW M340i – the 50 Jahre Editions.
Produced in only 50 pieces each, they are standardized 3D prints shaped to represent the proud heritage of the most successful model line of this brand. The two editions will be locally produced at the BMW Group plant Chennai available in the BMW Online shop only.
BMW 330Li M Sport 50 Jahr Edition is presented with luxury upgrades such as M High-Gloss Shadowline, carbon fibre trim and head-up display with 3D Augmented View. It is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder that generates 258hp with only 6.2 seconds claimed to accelerate to 0-100 km/h.
The BMW M340i 50 Jahre Edition is, meanwhile, the fastest ICE car produced in India with a 3.0L straight-six engine offering 374 hp and 500 Nm torque. Good 0-100km/h performance; 4.4 sec acceleration and special badging; ’50 Jahre’ logos on the body, M highlights, and 19 inch Jet Black alloys on red calipers.
The prices have been fixed at the ex-showroom of 64 lakh (330Li) and 76.9 lakh (M340i). To commemorate the release, the purchasers of the M340i would also be given a 1:18 scale model of BMW 3.0 CSL.
Such editions not only mark the 50-year anniversary of unmatched driving pleasure of the 3 Series but also reacknowledge the dedication of BMW to its claim on the driving pleasure through performance, innovation and luxury as demonstrated in this model to the motoring enthusiasts all over the world.
