MSME Summit MP News: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made several important announcements in the “Strong Entrepreneurs-Prosperous Madhya Pradesh Summit” organized on International MSME Day 2026 at Ravindra Bhawan, Bhopal. He said that the year 2027 will be celebrated as the ‘Year of Youth’. Also, Global Investors Summit (GIS) will be organized in Bhopal in January. In the programme, short films based on successful entrepreneurs were shown and the Chief Minister interacted with the entrepreneurs of Katni and Mandla.
MSME Investment, Startup Funding and Financial Assistance
CM gave incentives to more than 760 units with a single click and provided assistance of Rs 1.5 crore to 137 startups. Under the Investment Promotion Scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1274 crore was given to large industries. Women’s participation in the MSME sector in the state has increased to 59 percent and more than 4.41 lakh units are operating.
Industrial land allocation and development of new clusters
More than 760 plots were allotted for industrial areas in several districts including Mandsaur, Mandla, Jabalpur, Betul, Katni, Neemuch and Khargone. 16 industrial clusters have been developed in the state and work on 14 new clusters is in progress. Working women hostels and new MSME buildings are also being constructed.
Foreign investment and industrial reform
Investments from Canada, Japan, China, UK and other countries are increasing in Madhya Pradesh. After GIS, an investment of Rs 9,300 crore has hit the ground. The state has achieved “Top Achiever” status by implementing 23 reforms 100%.
Agriculture, Education and MSME Development Schemes
The government has declared 2026 as ‘Farmer Welfare Year’. Farmers have been given a new facility to repay loans and advances at zero interest rate. Education reform is being carried out through more than 200 Sandipani schools. The number of products with GI tag has also increased.
Success of entrepreneurs and industrial progress of the state
Entrepreneurs said that the investment environment has improved due to transparent policies and government support. Madhya Pradesh has now reached 11th position in the country in MSME exports and is making rapid industrial development.
