Youngest Debutant In International Cricket: Indian cricket team’s young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi is currently going through the golden phase of his career. After making a splash with his bat in the IPL, just 15-year-old Vaibhav has been included in the senior Indian team for the T20 series against Ireland and England. Whenever Vaibhav Suryavanshi will get a chance to play in India’s playing eleven on this tour, he will create a new history in Indian cricket as soon as he takes the field. However, despite this historic start, he will not be able to hold the world record of being the youngest player to debut in international cricket. This unbroken record is still registered in the name of a player from Pakistan.

New record will be made for India as soon as he debuts

If Vaibhav Suryavanshi makes his international debut for India on this tour, he will become the youngest player to debut for India in men’s international cricket. Currently, this record for India is in the name of Sachin Tendulkar, who is called the God of Cricket, who played his first international match against Pakistan in the year 1989 at the age of 16 years and 205 days. By entering the field at the age of 15, Vaibhav will break Sachin’s 37-year-old Indian record.

Why won’t the world record be broken?

Vaibhav may become India’s youngest player, but the world record for making his debut in international cricket at the youngest age for a full member nation team will remain in the name of Pakistan’s Hasan Raza. When Hasan Raza made his Test debut against Zimbabwe in Multan in 1996, he was only 14 years and 227 days old. Till date in the history of international cricket, no player has taken the field on behalf of full member countries at such a young age. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is now more than 15 years old, due to which he will miss breaking this world record of Hasan Raza.

Vaibhav’s luck shines with IPL

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who hails from Bihar, has impressed the selectors with his aggressive batting in domestic cricket and then in IPL. He is known for his long hitting and ability to turn matches at an early age. This year he scored 776 runs in 16 IPL matches, which included 63 fours and 72 sixes. Now it will be interesting to see how this 15 year old young player faces the bowlers on the fast pitches of Ireland.
