Devotees returning from Hemkund Sahib Yatra have declared the journey safe. The passengers praised the police administration and termed the social media rumors as misleading.
The devotees who reached Hemkund Sahib Yatra have openly praised the arrangements of police, administration and Gurudwara management. Passengers say that the journey is being conducted completely safely and smoothly. He also said that some people are trying to spoil the atmosphere by spreading misleading information just to gain views and popularity on social media.
Pilgrim Sukhbir Kaur shared her travel experience
Devotee Sukhbir Kaur, who came from Punjab with her family to visit Hemkund Sahib, said that she had started her journey on June 19. Before setting out on the journey many people had alerted him about various apprehensions and rumours. Sukhbir Kaur, who reached Govindghat after completing the journey on Tuesday, shared her experiences and said that she did not face any problem during the entire journey. He said that the local administration, police and Gurudwara Management Committee are conducting the Yatra with full responsibility and capacity.
Adequate facilities for medical treatment, food and accommodation during Hemkund Sahib Yatra.
According to Sukhbir Kaur, adequate arrangements have been made for medical facilities, food, accommodation and other necessary arrangements for the devotees on the yatra route. He said that local residents are also providing all possible help to the passengers, which is making the journey more comfortable. He said that from his experience it is clear that many things being spread on social media regarding the Yatra do not match the reality. Some people are spreading misinformation just to increase social media views.
Appeal to avoid social media rumors
Devotee Sukhbir Kaur also appealed to other pilgrims not to pay heed to the rumors and travel to Hemkund Sahib without any worries and take advantage of the darshan. He says that the administration and related institutions are continuously working for the convenience and safety of the passengers.
Other pilgrims also told the ground reality
Other devotees who returned after completing the yatra also told through video messages that the Hemkund Sahib Yatra is going on peacefully and in an orderly manner. He says that despite the arrival of large number of devotees, necessary facilities are being provided. Pilgrims said that the police and administration are continuously cooperating, while the local people are also playing an important role in making the yatra a success. Terming the rumors spreading on social media as misleading, he said that the actual situation is exactly the opposite and the Yatra is continuing safely and smoothly as before.
