On MCX, 24 carat gold fell to ₹1,44,788 per 10 grams, whereas on Monday its price was ₹1,46,664 per 10 grams. Whereas the rate of 22 carat gold was recorded at ₹ 1,32,626 per 10 grams. The price of silver also softened and traded at ₹ 2.27 lakh per kg, whereas on Monday its price was ₹ 2,37,799 per kg. This fall in the prices of gold and silver is expected to increase the buying enthusiasm in the market.
