Modi Govt Is The Most Shameless Ever – They Sent Our Army Personnel To TV Show For Modi’s PR

Mohit Chauhan, a user on X, posted a critical tweet regarding the appearance of three decorated indian Armed Forces officers on the popular television show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (KBC) during its Independence Day special episode.
The tweet, which includes a video clip and an image of Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, Wing commander Vyomika Singh, and commander Prerna Deosthalee seated on the show, questions the appropriateness of military personnel participating in such a platform.

Chauhan’s post expresses concern over the perceived politicization of the armed forces, suggesting that the current regime is exploiting these officers for petty politics and hyper-nationalism, rather than respecting their service and the gravity of their roles.

The video clip, sourced from the show, features the officers discussing Operation Sindoor, a high-risk counter-terror mission, in response to a question posed by host amitabh Bachchan. The narrative of the episode aims to celebrate India’s military achievements and honor the officers’ contributions, especially in light of Independence Day.

However, Chauhan’s tweet challenges this portrayal, arguing that such appearances undermine the apolitical nature of the military and risk turning these serious figures into mere props for entertainment and political gain. The post highlights a broader debate about the boundaries between military service and political exploitation, a sensitive issue in india where the armed forces are traditionally seen as above partisan politics.
