People faced problems due to lack of water
Due to continuous rains in Shimla district, pumps of water supply projects in the city are not able to function properly. Due to lack of water, people are having a lot of water problems. Many areas have not received water for the last four days. Therefore, people are forced to buy water to cook and drink. Vinod Negi, AGM of Shimla Water Management Corporation, said that due to heavy rains, there is a danger of increasing silt in Gumma reservoirs.
