During NEET 2026, Delhi government provided relief to more than 45 thousand candidates and parents by creating cooling zones at 97 examination centres.
A special initiative of the Delhi Government provided great convenience to thousands of candidates and their parents during the conduct of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). In view of the long wait outside the examination centers amid the scorching heat, the government made arrangements on a large scale, which brought a lot of relief to the people.
Special cooling zones created at NEET exam centers
According to the Delhi government, special cooling zones were prepared at all the 97 examination centers established in the capital. The purpose of these cooling zones was to provide relief from the heat to the students coming for the examination and their accompanying parents.
More than 45 thousand candidates and parents got benefit
More than 45 thousand NEET candidates and their parents benefited from this initiative. Proper seating arrangements were made for the people waiting during the examination, so that they could be protected from the sun and heat.
Arrangements for drinking water and essential facilities were also made.
Other necessary facilities including clean drinking water were also made available to the people coming to the cooling zone. Due to mutual coordination and better management of various departments, arrangements were operated smoothly at all the centres.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta told civic amenities as priority
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, the Delhi Government is continuously working towards giving top priority to the convenience of the citizens and human sensitivities. The government says that in future too, such public welfare and sensitive efforts will be carried forward continuously, so that better facilities can be provided to the common citizens.
