The Indian team, captained by Tilak Verma, defeated Sri Lanka in a one-sided fashion in the final. Afghanistan’s A team was also a part of this series. In the final match played in Dambulla, India A team performed brilliantly and captured the title. The explosive innings of 15 year old young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the biggest turning point of the match.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi played match winning innings
In the final match, India A, batting first, scored a huge score of 377 runs after losing 9 wickets in 50 overs. During this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 94 runs in just 29 balls, which included 10 fours and 8 sixes. His strike rate was more than 324. Whereas, Priyansh Arya scored 39 runs. Apart from this, Tilak Verma played a useful inning of 67 runs. Then Anukul Roy scored 39 runs in 15 balls in the last overs and took the score to 377.

Bowlers took India to victory
Sri Lanka A team, which set out to chase the target, did not have a special start.
