World Record by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made the world record of the fastest half-century in the final of the tri-series against Sri Lanka A. He has now become the batsman to score the fastest half-century in List A cricket. Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke the previous world record by a margin of 1 ball. Earlier this record was in the name of Sri Lankan batsman Kaushalya Weeraratne, which he made in 12 balls. Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit his fifty in 11 balls.
Gave a befitting reply to Sri Lanka after the fight
The final of the tri-series was Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s first match against Sri Lanka A players after a fight with them in the previous match. The way Vaibhav targeted the Sri Lankan bowlers with the very first ball in this match, he not only broke world records but also gave a befitting reply. Anyway, it is a very common thing in cricket that if you have to answer, then give it with the bat and Vaibhav Suryavanshi did the same on June 21 at Dambulla ground.
Who got beaten the most during the fastest half century?
Vaibhav Saryavanshi completed his half-century in 11 balls, which included 5 sixes and 5 fours. While completing this fastest half-century, Vaibhav first targeted Sri Lanka A bowler Mohammed Shiraz. Out of the 5 fours and 5 sixes he scored in his half-century innings, he hit 4 fours and 3 sixes only against Shiraz. He scored 26 runs in the third over of India A’s innings. This over was bowled by Shiraz.
