He went to the pitch of the Barbados ground on which the India-South Africa match was played. After this, he picked up some soil from the pitch and ate it.

Rohit Sharma also collected the T20 World Cup trophy in a different style. In this case, he copied Argentina captain Lionel Messi in the FIFA World Cup 2022.
