Avantika was tensed about NEET exam
- Despite Avantika already taking admission in a pharmacy college, she continued to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. It is being told that she was under a lot of mental stress due to the ongoing controversies regarding NEET exam and uncertainty about her future.
- Avantika Maurya, who was a resident of Balwari Khurd in Dhar district, was preparing for the NEET exam by staying in Indore with her elder sister Dr. Sapna Maurya for the last three years.
Jumped from the building while talking to brother
- On Thursday night she was talking to her cousin on mobile. During the conversation she went to the terrace. After the incident, he was taken to a private hospital in a critical condition and later shifted to MY Hospital, where he died on Friday morning.
- The police is investigating the matter from every angle, but her family believes that Avantika was going through mental stress for a long time.
Parents made an emotional appeal to NEET students
- The student’s father said that the government is doing good work, even though political leaders like Jitu Patwari are raising questions about irregularities and paper leaks in NEET. The father said that he did not know why his daughter took such a step. He appealed to other NEET aspirants and their parents to remain positive and reminded them that exams are just a part of life and there will be many more opportunities ahead.
- Avantika’s father, Dr. Banshilal Maurya, is a medical officer in Bhikangaon in Khargone district. The whole family dreamed of seeing him become a doctor. He was present in Indore at the time of the incident.
- He said he had no knowledge of the circumstances under which she fell; He was strolling nearby when locals informed him. Although he was immediately taken for treatment, he could not be saved.
- According to her father, Avantika seemed mentally stressed for the last few days. He said, “Only she knew why she committed suicide.”
