The official trailer of the much-awaited Meghna Gulzar directorial Daayra has finally dropped online. A Junglee Pictures and Dr Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios) production, the film sees Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran collaborate for a crime thriller. The film, whose trailer dropped today, August 31, is slated for release on September 18.
Sharing the official trailer for on social media, the makers wrote, “Inspired by true events, Daayra is a gripping crime thriller that follows DCP Raman Kumar and DCP Ajooni Kohli as a case places them on opposing sides of the same system. As their paths collide, the film examines truth, accountability and the moral boundaries of justice, leaving the audience to confront the questions at its heart.”
As soon as the trailer dropped, netizens started taking to the comments section to share their thoughts on it.
