Actually, before the NEET re-examination, Telegram was being misused to spread false news of paper leak and large-scale money fraud. The government gave the same arguments in the court, which were accepted by the court. For this reason, a temporary ban was imposed on the app.

Telegram had said in its argument that this action of the government is unprecedented and unilateral. The company said that it was banned without giving it a chance to present its side. At the same time, the Central Government replied that this decision has been taken on the basis of solid evidence.

Meanwhile, company founder Pavel Durov made fun of this ban. He had said that the real problem should be solved, this ban will cause problems to millions of common users. After the ban, Google has removed this app from the Play Store. On the other hand, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is speeding up preparations for re-examination.
