When the Crime Branch of Pune Police raided a luxurious bungalow in Ubale Nagar of Wagholi, the reality that came to light shocked even the police officers. The main accused and his seven associates have been arrested in this case.

According to police investigation, the accused used to claim to solve people’s health, financial and family problems with miraculous powers. The devil was hiding in the guise of a ‘messenger’: a false maze of supernatural powers
The mastermind of this sensational case is 59-year-old Radha Mohan Mishra, who is originally from Haryana. Mishra was living in a luxurious bungalow in Pune by converting it into an ashram for the last eight years. He used to deceive people with the promise of curing their health, financial problems and family disputes with his ‘divine powers’. In this trap, a 41-year-old woman resident of Sinhgadh Road area of Pune, who worked at a high position in a reputed private company, got trapped. The accused won the trust of the woman and her family to such an extent that the woman started living in his bungalow for the last several years. But little did she know that at the very doorstep where she had come in search of peace, the most horrifying story of her life was about to be written.
Soul-shattering torture: electric shocks and compulsion to drink urine
The revelations made in the police investigation can give goosebumps to anyone. According to the complainant woman, accused Radhamohan Mishra exploited her physically, mentally and sexually for years under the guise of spirituality and Tantra-Mantra. Crossing the limits of torture, the woman was given electric shocks. Not only this, this brute who calls himself a man of God even forced the woman to drink his own urine. The woman was completely isolated from her friends, relatives and entire support network. The accused had so controlled the woman’s family that whenever the woman tried to raise her voice, the accused proved her words false by coaxing the family.
Suspense of secret tunnel and secret video: The dark empire inside the bungalow
This disgusting game was going on continuously in Haryana and Pune for the last 25 years (2001 to 2026). The materials found from the bungalow during the police raid have made this case more mysterious and serious:
- Piles of electronic equipment: Police have seized a huge quantity of laptops, hard disks, tablets, mobile phones, pen drives, CDs and DVDs from the bungalow.
- Blackmailing from secret video: Investigators suspect that some very personal videos of the victim were recorded, which were used to intimidate her and keep her silent. A network of CCTV cameras was laid in the entire premises and the woman’s rooms.
- Mysterious underground tunnel: Police have found an underground tunnel under construction inside the bungalow. The police is now investigating in depth what was the real purpose of making this secret tunnel.
- Cash and Jewellery: ₹6.5 lakh in cash, gold jewelery worth ₹15 lakh and various suspicious medicines were also recovered during the raid.
The clutches of the law: Will more victims come forward?
Pune Crime Branch has also arrested the main accused Radhamohan Mishra along with his closest associate Kanwal Nayan (58 years) and six female associates, who supported Mishra in this entire crime. Apart from sexual harassment, all these eight accused are also accused of getting the woman’s property worth crores of rupees transferred to their name through fraud and forgery. The court has sent all the accused to police custody till June 20. Police suspect that many more women may also be trapped in the trap of this so-called guru, who were tortured through this secret bungalow and tunnel.
