BCCI has revealed its plan regarding IPL 2027, according to which the 20th season may start a little early. BCCI plans to hold IPL 2027 between March 10 and May 15. BCCI has cited the weather as the reason for starting IPL 2027 early. According to BCCI, this will provide relief to the players from the scorching heat and scorching sun. The Indian Cricket Board also said that it has no intention of increasing the number of matches in IPL 2027.

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia told PTI that discussions are going on to start IPL 2027 early. Our effort is to conduct it between March 10 and May 15, so that the players can get relief from the heat.
