When is Mahesh Navami 2026?
The festival of Mahesh Navami is mainly celebrated by Maheshwari community. According to religious beliefs, Maheshwari society was born on this day. This festival is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This time the festival of Mahesh Navami will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 23. On this occasion, special worship of Lord Mahesh i.e. Lord Shiva is done. When is Gayatri Jayanti 2026?
Goddess Gayatri is called Vedamata. Every year the festival of Gayatri Jayanti is celebrated on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. It is believed that Goddess Gayatri appeared on this date. This time the festival of Gayatri Jayanti will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24. When is Nirjala Ekadashi 2026?
According to religious texts, Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month is called Nirjala Ekadashi. It is considered the best among all Ekadashis. In this fast, the fasting person worships Lord Vishnu without drinking water for the whole day. It is believed that fasting on Nirjala Ekadashi gives the same virtuous results as fasting on all the Ekadashis of the year. On this day, special importance has been given to charity, water donation and helping the needy. It is also called Bhimseni Ekadashi because Pandu’s son Bhim used to observe only this Ekadashi fast in the whole year.
