Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared the results of class 12th and 8th on Tuesday, April 30. The results have been released on the official website of PSEB, pseb.ac.in. The link to check the result has been activated today i.e. Wednesday, May 1 at 10 am, after which all the students can check their marksheet by visiting the PSEB website.
A total of 98.31 percent students have passed in Punjab Board class 8th. A total of 93.04 percent students have passed in Intermediate. Since the examination, students were eagerly waiting for their results. This year the results of Punjab Board 8th and 12th were quite excellent. Ekampreet Singh topped in 12th. He has secured 100% marks in Intermediate. Ravi Uday Singh is second in class 12th. Ashwini stands third in the state, she has obtained 99.8 percent marks.
Great performance of girls in class 12th
This time a total of 2,84,452 girls and boys had appeared in the Punjab Board 12th board examination, out of which a total of 2,64,662 have achieved success. Whereas the result of girls was recorded at 95.74 percent and that of boys was 90.74 percent. Amritsar district of Punjab has recorded the highest result of 97.27 percent and Sri Muktar Sahib district has recorded the lowest result of 87.86 percent. This year the 12th examination was conducted from 13 February to 30 March.
Total 98.31 percent students passed in 8th
Talking about 8th board, Harnoorpreet Kaur of Government Senior Secondary School and brother Rupa of Bathinda district have topped in 8th by getting 100 percent marks. Gurleen Kaur of Amritsar has secured second position. He has secured 99.67 percent marks. Armandeep Singh stood third, he has obtained 99.5 percent marks. Class 8th examination was conducted from March 7 to March 27.
