About a week ago, a report came that the number of domestic air passengers in the country has reached a record level of more than 4.70 lakh per day. How much has jet fuel become?
The price of jet fuel for domestic flights in the country’s capital Delhi has increased by Rs 749.25, after which the price has become 1,01,642.88 kilo litre.
On the other hand, in Kolkata, the largest metropolis in the eastern region of the country, the price of jet fuel has also seen an increase of Rs 684.52. After which the price has become Rs 1,10,583.13 per kilometre.
In Mumbai, the largest metropolitan city of the western region of the country, the price of jet fuel has also seen an increase of Rs 707.29. After which the price of jet fuel here has become Rs 95,173.70 per kilo liter.
A similar situation was seen in the largest metropolis in the southern part of the country. Here the price of jet fuel increased by Rs 628.73 and the price became 1,05,602.09 kiloliter.

Fuel becomes expensive even on international routes
On the other hand, jet fuel has also become expensive for those domestic airlines which also operate international flights. The least increase has been seen in Delhi. In April, prices have increased from $921.4 to $921.83 per kiloliter. On the other hand, the price of fuel for domestic flights going from Kolkata to foreign countries has increased from $ 959.49 to $ 960.76 per kiloliter. On the other hand, the price of fuel for such planes at Mumbai airport in April was $ 919.49, which has increased to $ 921.04 per kiloliter. On the other hand, the price of fuel for planes running on the international route in Chennai has increased from $ 916.49 to $ 917.68 per kiloliter.
Will air travel be expensive?
After the increase in jet fuel, there are indications that there may be an increase in air fares in the peak summer season. At present all the airline companies are under a lot of pressure. Due to less number of aircraft, the prices are still rising. On the other hand, due to Go First being grounded, the problem has increased even more since last year. If experts are to be believed, there may be an increase in the price of air fuel. Anyway, experts had estimated last month that there could be an increase of 20 to 25 percent in air fare prices.
