Raipur. Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Ramen Deka today visited Bilaspur-based Dr. C.V. Participated as the chief guest in the inaugural session of the two-day ‘Samarth Bharat Conclave 2026’ organized under the joint aegis of Raman University and ISECT India Group. Addressing the program, he said that the world is changing rapidly and the expansion of technology is continuously gaining new dimensions. At such a time, it is important that technology is used for human welfare, social development and environmental protection.
AI Technology in India: AI is a human ally, not a substitute.
The Governor said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most important technologies of the present time. Its use can bring positive changes in many fields like medicine, agriculture, education and economy. However, he clarified that AI can never replace human intelligence, sensitivity and moral values.
He called upon the youth to use AI and other modern technologies for innovation, research and work in the interest of society. Technology should be embraced as a life-enhancing companion, not a threat.
Concern over Digital Addiction, advice on balanced use of Internet
In his address, the Governor also expressed concern over the increasing use of internet. He said that digital medium has many benefits, but its negative effects also cannot be ignored. People, especially the youth, should try to avoid digital addiction and make balanced and responsible use of the Internet.
Increased use of modern technologies in agriculture, education and health
The Governor said that the development of human civilization has always progressed through innovation and scientific discoveries. Just as the discovery of fire gave a new direction to human life, similarly modern science and technology are playing an important role in building the future of India.
He said that widespread use of modern technologies in sectors like agriculture, health, education, environment protection and rural development is the biggest need of the hour. Startups and innovations are not limited to economic progress only, but they can also become an effective means of solving various problems of the society.
Possibilities of employment and social change through innovation and startup
The Governor said that the lives of disabled people can be made easier through innovation. With this, new employment opportunities can be created for the youth and the society can be connected to new possibilities. He inspired the youth to contribute to the development of the country and society through technological innovation.
Protection Environmental: Make environmental protection a priority
Laying special emphasis on environmental protection, the Governor said that the need of the hour is to adopt renewable energy, solar energy, water conservation, rain water harvesting and environment-friendly lifestyle. He said that striking a balance between development and environmental protection is the biggest challenge of the time.
There is immense potential among the youth of Chhattisgarh, it is necessary to connect them with opportunities.
Referring to the characteristics of Chhattisgarh, the Governor said that this state is full of rich tribal culture and natural resources. There is no dearth of talent among the youth here. There is a need to connect them with quality education, skill development and better opportunities. He said that to strengthen the economy of the state, special attention will have to be paid to value addition in all sectors including agriculture, forest products, industry and service sector.
The need of the hour is to bring technology and AI to rural India.
The Governor said that it is very important to take the benefits of technology and innovation to the villages of India. If the youth of rural areas are connected with modern technologies then they can play a big role in the development of the country.
AI Education in Chhattisgarh: AI studies started in engineering colleges
Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb, who was present as a special guest in the program, said that AI based education has been started in the engineering colleges of the state. He informed that efforts are being made to start new courses in technical institutes as per the requirements of industries and companies. The objective of the government is to make the youth so capable that they become not only job seekers but also employment providers.
AI Skill Rath Launch: Governor flags off AI Skill Rath
During the program, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Pradeep Kumar Ghosh highlighted various aspects of AI. Padmashri Shri Ajay Mandvi was also specially present in the conclave and shared inspiring thoughts. On this occasion, Governor Shri Ramen Deka flagged off the AI Kaushal Rath. This chariot will reach different areas of the state and inform students, teachers and common citizens about the usefulness, possibilities and employment opportunities of AI. This state-of-the-art mobile lab has been designed especially with the aim of providing free practical education on Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to rural youth.
AI Book Launch: Release of Annual Report and AI Book
In the programme, the Governor also released the annual report of ISECT as well as a book based on the subject of Kaushal Rath and AI. The program was conducted by Dr. Jyoti Bala Gupta, while the vote of thanks was given by Registrar Dr. Arvind Kumar Tiwari. University officials, professors, representatives of industry and banking sector, officers and employees of ISECT India Group and a large number of rural entrepreneurs were present in the conclave.
