1000 women were included in the survey
The survey was conducted by the UK’s OnePoll institution, which included questions about the backup partner from 1000 women, who also included married women. The results were shocking. About 50 percent of the women admitted that they already have a backup partner in their minds, so that if their current relationship is broken, they could move directly towards that person. That is, they already have a ‘Plan‑b’ prepared. In today’s relationship language, this trend is called ‘benching’.
What is a backup partner?
The backup partner is the person who has often been forced to be considered an old friend, ex-boyfriend, office colleague or gym partner for years.
