This incident is most popular in the history of Kainchi Dham. Once a huge bhandara was being organized in the ashram. The servants were busy preparing Malpua and Prasad when suddenly the ghee ran out completely. Seeing the Bhandara stopping, the servants reached Baba in great distress. Baba smiled very casually and said, don’t worry, just fill the pan with water from the river flowing nearby. Believing in Baba’s words, the servants brought river water in canisters and as soon as it was poured into the hot pan, the ordinary water miraculously transformed into pure desi ghee. All the Prasad was prepared with that ghee and the Bhandara was completed without any hindrance.

train miracle

Baba’s real name was Lakshmi Narayan Sharma, but there is a very interesting and miraculous incident behind how he got the name Neem Karauli. Once Baba was traveling in the first class compartment of a train without a ticket. When the ticket check came, he did not recognize Baba and citing the rules, he got him down from the train at the next station. Baba got down silently without any argument and sat on the ground near the station.

What happened after this shocked the railway administration. The driver used all his strength to move the train forward, but the train did not move. Even after a lot of efforts and technical checks, when the train did not move an inch, a local railway employee told the officials that all this was happening because of the unloading of that sadhu. The officials immediately admitted their mistake and respectfully requested Baba to board the train again. As soon as Baba came back and sat in the compartment smiling, the train immediately started moving without any effort. After this incident, he came to be known as Neem Karauli Baba.

Ordinary water was converted into Ganga water for a sick devotee.

Once a great devotee of Baba became seriously ill. Doctors had also given up hope. When Baba came to know about this, he asked one of his servants to bring ordinary tap water in a pot. Baba held that water pot in his hand for some time. After this he gave that water to the sick devotee to drink. As soon as the devotee consumed that water, he actually got the taste and fragrance of Ganga water. As soon as he drank that divine water, positive energy was infused in the devotee’s body and he became completely healthy within a few days.
