Noida Airport
There is great news for the people who have been waiting for a long time for Noida International Airport to be built in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. Commercial i.e. passenger flights are going to start from this airport from June 15. A total of 8 flights will operate on the first day, out of which 4 flights will arrive and 4 flights will depart from here.
According to official information, Noida Airport But the first flight will arrive from Lucknow at 8:05 am. The first flight from the airport will leave for Bengaluru at 8:35 am. Some special flights will also be operated between Lucknow and Bengaluru on the first day.
Flights to Hyderabad and Amritsar
Apart from this, regular flight services to Hyderabad and Amritsar will also start on the very first day. The first flight coming from Hyderabad will reach Noida at 8:35 am, while the return flight will depart at 2:50 pm. The daily flight to Amritsar will depart at 10:10 am and the first flight from there will reach Noida at 1:20 pm. Indigo Airlines will operate all the flights on the first day.
Flights will increase further from June 16
IndiGo will start regular daily flights from Noida to Bengaluru and Jammu from June 16. Akasa Air is also going to start daily flights from Noida to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai from June 16. The Navi Mumbai flight will take off at 10:15 am and the Bengaluru flight will take off at 7:55 pm.
Many new cities will be added from July
From July 1, Indigo will also start daily flights from Noida Airport to Navi Mumbai, Srinagar, Jodhpur, Dharamshala, Bhopal and Dehradun. Apart from this, two flights each will be available every day for Lucknow, Jaipur, Pantnagar and Chandigarh. There will be four flights a week for Bareilly and three a week for Kishangarh.
Air India Express services may start soon
Noida International Airport has been built by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this airport on March 28. This is the second big airport of Delhi-NCR and it will benefit millions of passengers of the region. At present, Indigo and Akasa Air have announced to start flights from here. Air India Express can also start its services soon.
Currently only domestic flights
This airport has not yet received approval for international passenger flights. Therefore, at present only domestic flights will operate from here. However, permission has been granted to transport international cargo. The work on the first phase of the airport has been completed. A runway and a terminal building have been built in it. The annual capacity of the airport in this phase is 1.2 crore passengers. In future, it will be developed in four phases, which will further increase its capacity.
