Today’s weather in UP: The weather pattern in Uttar Pradesh on June 14, 2026 is going to be mostly dry and hot. The sky is expected to remain clear in most of the districts of the state, while in some areas there is a possibility of light clouds and drizzle with thunder. At present, no warning has been issued by the Meteorological Department for any district. However, in the coming days the temperature in many cities may reach above 40 degrees Celsius, due to which people will have to face heat and humidity.
Relief in western UP, but heat persists
In Agra, Western Uttar Pradesh, the maximum temperature today is expected to be 35 degrees and minimum 24 degrees Celsius. The sky will be mainly clear. There is a possibility of cloudy sky and light rain or thundershowers on June 15. The temperature in Meerut today will be between 32 to 25 degrees, which will provide relative relief compared to the big cities of the state. Whereas in Hapur the temperature can reach up to 41 degrees. There is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers around June 19.
Heat will increase in Central UP including Lucknow-Kanpur
Today, the maximum temperature in the capital Lucknow is expected to be 39 degrees and the minimum will be 27 degrees Celsius. The temperature may reach 42 degrees in the next three to four days. Similarly, the temperature in Kanpur today will be 38 degrees, which is likely to reach 42 degrees by June 17. The heat will continuously increase in Banda also. The temperature which is 36 degrees today can reach 43 degrees by June 18, which can create heat like conditions in Bundelkhand region.
Strong sunshine in Purvanchal too, signs of rain at some places
The weather will be clear in Ayodhya today and the temperature will be around 35 degrees. The temperature here may reach 41 degrees by next week. Basti is going to be among the hottest districts of the state. The maximum temperature here today is expected to be 43 degrees. There are chances of light rain or thundershowers on June 14 and June 18-19. The temperature in Gonda will also remain between 42 to 43 degrees. After June 17, cloud movement may increase and there may be a possibility of light rain.
How will the weather be in Prayagraj and Banaras?
The weather will be clear in Prayagraj today with a temperature of 37 degrees. The temperature may reach 40 degrees in the next few days. Whereas in Varanasi (Banaras), the temperature is expected to be 35 degrees today and the weather will remain mainly clear throughout the week.
