In two months, the price of commercial gas cylinder has seen an increase of about Rs 40 in the country’s capital Delhi.

However, among the four metros of the country, the highest increase has been seen in Kolkata. Increase in commercial gas cylinders in March

There has been an increase in the price of commercial gas cylinders on the first day of March. This increase of Rs 25.5 has been seen in the country’s capital Delhi and Mumbai. After which the price of commercial gas cylinder has become Rs 1795 in Delhi and Rs 1749 in Mumbai. An increase of Rs 24 was seen in the price of commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata and the price came to Rs 1911. Whereas in Chennai, in the month of March, this increase of Rs 23.5 has been seen and the price has come to Rs 1960.50.

How much has happened in two months?

If we talk about the last two months, the maximum increase has been seen in Kolkata. An increase of Rs 42 has been seen in the price of commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata. After that an increase of Rs 40.5 has been seen in Mumbai. In the country’s capital Delhi this increase has been Rs 39.5. If we talk about Chennai, the largest metropolis of South India, the price of commercial gas cylinder has increased by a minimum of Rs 36 in the last two months. If experts are to be believed, there may be a further increase in the price of commercial gas cylinders in the coming days.

Domestic gas cylinder prices frozen for 6 months

On the other hand, the prices of domestic gas cylinders have been frozen for the last 6 months. There has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders since August 30. At that time the Central Government had made a flat cut of Rs 200 in the price of domestic gas cylinder. After which the price of domestic gas cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi is at Rs 903. Whereas in Kolkata it has come down to Rs 929. The price of domestic gas cylinder is Rs 902.50 in Mumbai and Rs 918.50 in Chennai. It is difficult to say with certainty that there may be a change in the price of domestic gas cylinder in the coming days.
