The US Consulate General in Mumbai has received a bomb threat. After getting information about this threat received through email, Mumbai Police has registered a case against unknown person under relevant sections. With the help of the IP address of the email sender, the police has started searching for him. This threat was sent two days ago to the embassy office located in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. According to Bandra Kurla Complex Police, information was given by the Consulate General of America on February 9.
It was told that at 3.50 am a threatening mail has been sent to the official ID of the embassy from the email ID [email protected]. In this, the sender, calling himself a fugitive from America, has threatened to blow up the embassy. Not only this, the accused has also threatened to blow up the American Consulate. In this email it has been said that American citizens have been killed on a large scale. Police said that the person sending the email has not been identified yet.
Police searching for the accused through IP address
In such a situation, the police is trying to identify the accused by finding out the IP address of the computer from which this threat was sent. In this sequence, the police have registered a case against the accused under sections of intimidation and started investigating the matter. Let us tell you that this has happened many times before to other prestigious institutions of the country. According to the police, till now the threatening emails have been sent by mad people. There is a possibility that some madman may be behind this act.
Police checking diversion of system

According to the police, first of all it is being seen whether the computer from which this threatening mail has been sent is somewhere in India or whether such action has been carried out while sitting abroad.
