Gupt Navratri 2026: Four Navratri have been described in Sanatan Dharma scriptures. In which along with Chaitra and Sharadiya Navratri, two Gupta Navratri are also celebrated. While nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped during Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri, the importance of worshiping 10 Mahavidyas during Gupt Navratri is greater. During Gupt Navratri, special worship is done to Maa Kali, Maa Tara, Maa Shodashi, Maa Tripura Sundari, Maa Bhuvaneshwari, Maa Chinnamasta, Maa Tripura Bhairavi, Maa Dhumavati, Maa Baglamukhi, Maa Matangi and Maa Kamla.

Ashadha Gupt Navratri 2026 Tithi
- According to the Panchang, Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadha month will start on 14 July 2026 at 03:12 pm.
- The Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month will end on July 15 at 11:50 am.
In such a situation, considering Udaya Tithi, Gupt Navratri will start from 15th July in the month of Ashadha.
Ashadha Gupt Navratri 2026 Ghatasthapana Muhurat
According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time of Ghatasthaapna of Ashadh Gupt Navratri will be from 06:01 am to 10:17 am on July 15. On this day, you will get 4 hours 16 minutes time for Ghatasthapana.
Ashadha Gupt Navratri Puja Vidhi
During Gupta Navratri, Tantrik and Aghori worship Goddess Durga at midnight. During this, first of all the statue or idol of Maa Durga is installed. Red vermillion is offered to him. Chunari with golden braid is offered. Puja materials are offered at the feet of the mother. Red flowers are offered to Maa Durga. Durga Chalisa or Durga Saptashati is recited. After the recitation, Mata Aarti is performed.
Significance of Gupt Navratri
There is a religious belief that 10 Mahavidyas of Maa Durga were revealed during Gupt Navratri. By chanting the mantras of these Mahavidyas during Gupt Navratri, the problems of life go away. Reciting Durga Saptashati, Devi Mahatmya along with Shrimad-Devi Bhagwat etc. maintains happiness in life. The Sadhana done during Gupt Navratri eliminates all the defects of the horoscope.
