Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera shared a joint video from the ceremony where family members could be seen participating in prayers and chanting “Har Har Mahadev” together. In one part of the celebration, Karishma wore a soft pastel pink saree while Varun kept his look simple in a white kurta and trousers.
The couple later shared another video from what Karishma described as their “first South Indian style Godh Bharai”. For the ritual ceremony, she chose a traditional gold and cream saree paired with temple jewellery and fresh gajra flowers. Varun complemented the aesthetic in classic ethnic wear.
In her caption, Karishma mentioned Tulu rituals, sacred mantras and traditions that formed an important part of the ceremony. She wrote about feeling protected, grateful and surrounded by love as they prepared to welcome their child.

Back in April 2026, Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera had announced their pregnancy through a maternity photoshoot shared on Instagram. The pictures featured the couple wearing hats labelled “Mom” and “Dad”, along with tiny woollen baby socks placed between them. The couple also revealed that their baby is due in August 2026.
