On the day of consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Ramlala will be offered 56 bhog. Of course, food is being arranged for the Lord from Sita Rasoi, but sweets will be brought to Ramlala from different places. For more than 30 years, Khurchan Peda is being offered to the Lord from Chandra Sweets in Ayodhya. This time also on 22nd January, sweets (Khurchan Peda) will be sent to the Lord from here.
In a special conversation with TV9 Bharatvarsha, shop owner Sumit Gupta said that it is a matter of great fortune for him that Ram Lalla will be offered the Peda made from his shop on the day of Pran Pratistha.
Sweets prepared for special occasions
Sumit tells that since the time of Ramchandra Paramhans Das Ji Maharaj, the scrap trees from his place have been being offered to God. Two to two and a half kilos of peda is sent every day. Even when the decision on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi was announced on 9 November 2019, sweets were taken away from his place. Along with this, when the Bhoomi Pujan of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi took place on August 5, 2020, sweets were also sent from here.
milk being brought from the village
Sumit tells that milk is also specially ordered for offering to Lord Ramlala. He said that since it is a special offering to God, special care is taken about the purity of milk. This is the reason why instead of packet milk, it is specially procured from the village.
so that sweets last longer
Sumit tells that every day the Peda made at his place is offered to God. After the offering is made, it is also distributed among the devotees in the form of Prasad. He told that there are many devotees who take the Prasad offered to Lord Ramlala to their homes. Therefore, this Peda is made in such a way that it remains intact for a long time.
