Yesterday in Jalaun, Kotwali police had caught a container near the toll plaza on Jhansi-Kanpur National Highway. 21 thousand kg of banned beef was recovered in this container. The police immediately arrested the container driver and owner. After this, the police registered a case under serious sections against the container driver Manish Kumar, its owner Janak Ram Verma, Muhammad Yusuf and Zubair Qureshi.

Regarding this, Jalaun police has issued a look out notice against the absconding accused, so that the accused cannot escape abroad.
Jalaun Superintendent of Police Dr. Iraj Raja said that during the checking, 21 thousand kg meat packets were seized from a loaded container, which was sent for samples to the Forensic Science Laboratory. After the investigation report came, it was confirmed that the recovered meat was of cattle, which was later buried.

The Superintendent of Police said that the meat was being transported in a planned manner, a fake bill of which was made by the driver, so that this banned beef could be transported easily. He told that in this case, a case was registered against the driver under the section of fake bill and cow slaughter, in this case, after interrogating the driver, his owner was arrested and sent to jail. Besides, investigation teams have been formed to arrest two other people who carried out this work.
Information has been received that the accused related to the case are planning to flee abroad, hence a look out circular has been issued against them through the court. Other accused will be arrested soon. 14A action will also be taken against all the accused along with the gangster.
SP said that the two accused, Muhammad Yusuf and Zubair Qureshi, who are absconding, are also in contact with people from Bihar and West Bengal. Efforts are being made to arrest all these accused by scanning their mobile CDRs. Besides, information has been given about these smugglers at all airports and other places, so that they cannot escape abroad.
